Morning! -4-
The weather has been strange this summer. Up until the end of August, the morning was either
... cloudy or misty from wave splash or foggy.
Seaweed on the beach
But perseverance prevails. The early bird catches the worm. And obachan finally shot a couple of photos that may make a few amateur photographers jealous (not because of my skills but because of the luck).
Awww... beautiful... I've always loved dawn. Feels like a thousand suns shining endless promises on me. You're so blessed to marvel them with your own eyes.
K & S; Well, it's my camera that does the work. ;)
Anonymous commenter; Ah, it's a beautiful way to describe the dawn. Yeah, I think I'm so lucky.
ダイアナ; Actually, it is not dark at around 5 am at this time of the year, and it takes about 2 minutes to get to the shore, so it's no big deal. :)
Carlyn; Yep, I am. There's almost always some clouds above the horizon, so I never thought that I would be able to take a shot like this. Lucky me.
Ashley; If you're talking about the last two photos, you don't really have to do anything special with your camera. Just wake up early enough, and when you shoot photos, make sure that the horizon is horizontal in the finder. ;)

The photos are so beautiful I can smell the sea. You must walk to the shore in the dark to take a sun rising picture. I wouldn't call that luck.

Gorgeous!!!! How fortunate you are.
That's absolutely gorgeous, Obachan. Definitely need to learn how to make my camera do that.
Beautiful photos. I love figs, enjoyed the recipes and ideas for figs below.
Grace;
Yep, it is! :D
