Morning! -2-

Some photos I took on my morning walk recently. :) Believe it or not, I still wake up at 5 am every single day and take a walk!

Here's my friend, Jonathan. A stray seagull with a broken wing. Looks like he cannot fly. Or could it be she? How do you tell a male seagull from a female? Do you know? Anyway, for me a stray seagull is always "Jonathan" regardless of its gender. (Maybe young readers don't know Jonathan Livingston Seagull...?)

Dear Obachan
It has become a morning ritual, before I start work, to check updates on your blog. Thank you for the lovely sunrise pictures. Have a great day ahead.... and hi to Jonathan too
Best wishes
Jo

Dear Obachan,
I <3 Johnathan Livingston Seagull. As a kid it quickly became one of my favorite books and still is. Glad you like it too ^^ And with a view like that, i'd be up at 5am too! What beautiful pictures XD

I've heard of Jonathan Livingston Seagull...you are so good to go walking everyday!

The short bit of research I just did tells me that the only way to know the difference between a male and a female seagull is that the males are larger. So I guess you're just going to have to wait for a comparison seagull to show up. :)

You're so good to still go on early morning walks! You couldn't drag me out of bed at knifepoint at that hour!

I never get up at five, but I *might* go into bed at that time ;) Seeing your pictures makes me think it might be worth it, though.

I know you are going through some challenges with your transition, but that gorgeous view available to you every morning Must surely make it all worth it. I'm really enjoying your new blog!

Joanna;
Wow, it's so nice to know that someone checks on my blog that often.
Thank you so much.

And yesterday morning, I said Hi to Jonathan from you. ;)

Ara;
Well, I'd like to believe that I got this habit of getting up early from my previous work (a dishwasher at a hotel), but it could be just me getting old...
:P

Madsilence;
Thank you. I'm glad to hear from someone who knows (not just "heard about") that book. ;)

K & S;
Yeah, it's great to live close to the ocean. Of course you know that very well, right? :)

Ghanima;
Wow, thanks for the info. Mmmmm... I wonder if I would ever see a comparison seagull standing close to Jonathan, but we'll see...

You never know. You might be taking photos like me at 5am when you turn 80 y.o.

Cara;
Going to bed at 5 am! But yean, I've done that, too. Many times, to tell you the truth. Haha...

Anyway, there'll be more and more "morning photos" on this blog, so just keep visiting and enjoy a "virtual" morning walk! :D

Tamemu;
Yep, it is! :)

David;
Thank you. Thank you so much.
I hope you keep coming back, because comments to my blog mean so much to me now.
